I Love to Read Month

February is “I Love to Read” month and RWP has also combined the upcoming Olympic Games into our theme! Your child has brought home a one page reading log to document how many minutes are read each day. If our class reads for the most minutes we will win a movie and popcorn activity in the library! We have been busy learning about Consonant Blends and Digraphs! A consonant blend is when 2 or more consonants are blended together but each sound may be heard in the blend. A word family is a group of words that have a common feature or pattern – they have some of the same combinations of letters in them and a similar sound. Halloween Pumpkins and Volunteering
